Royal Enfield, KTM, Pulsar, R15 — ceramic coating for bikes is the smartest upgrade you can make. Here's everything: what it costs, what it does, and what to expect.
Pune is one of India's largest two-wheeler cities. Whether you're riding a Royal Enfield Classic 350 to work every day or taking your KTM Duke out on weekend rides to Lonavala, your bike's paint faces a relentless assault from road dust, monsoon rain, UV radiation, and exhaust stains. Ceramic coating is no longer just for cars — and at Mr. Detailer, two-wheelers are one of our most popular services.
| Service | What's Covered | Price | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ceramic Coat — Standard | Full painted body panels | ₹3,500 | 1 Year |
| Ceramic Coat — Premium 9H | Full body + rims + exhaust | ₹5,000 | 2 Years |
| Ceramic Coat — Graphene | Full body + all chrome + engine bay | ₹7,000 | 3 Years |
| Full Bike Detail + Ceramic | Deep clean + decontamination + 9H coat | ₹8,000 | 2 Years |
Prices above are indicative and may vary based on the bike's size, condition, and the amount of pre-treatment required. Superbikes and large-format cruisers (Harley-Davidson, Royal Enfield Super Meteor) are priced slightly higher due to larger panel areas.
A standard bike ceramic coating at Mr. Detailer takes 6 to 8 hours. We recommend dropping your bike off in the morning. It will be ready for collection by evening. After coating, the bike should not get wet for 24 hours (the coating needs to cure). Avoid washing for the first 7 days and do not apply any other wax or polish products during this period.
You can ride the bike after collection, but avoid riding in rain for the first 24 hours. The coating takes 24–48 hours to fully cure and reach its maximum hardness. During this window, exposing it to water can cause water spotting that affects the final gloss. For best results, we suggest keeping the bike dry for the first full day.
Yes — our premium and graphene packages include coating the exhaust headers (cool sections), chrome finishes, alloy wheels, and engine side panels. Note that the hot exhaust pipe section (immediately after the engine) reaches temperatures that exceed what ceramic coating can withstand, so those sections are cleaned and polished but not coated.
